We're happy to share that the process toward revitalizing our building into a new Community Food Hub is coming along! Our friends at Buchanan General Contracting finished pin piling drilling, which will protect the building in an earthquake. We're excited to watch our team pour the foundation for our expansion. We look forward to seeing the next steps of bringing the building to completion!
We were thrilled to host our third summer intern cohort this year, with interns from University of Washington and Teens in Public Service (TIPS)! Interns support us in making our mission a reality by working alongside our staff in development and distribution roles. We also provide interns with valuable professional experience, helping them achieve their goals and preparing them for their future paths. We're grateful to have had Ava, Katrina "Kitts", and Khiem join us this summer.
